Jun 28 NARS Orgasm #BigODrip 3 Year Anniversary Party

“Every girl should have an orgasm!” At least that’s what the ladies of NARS River Oaks told me when I came out to help celebrate their 3 year anniversary. Hosted by entrepreneur Whitney Talks and co-host Naturally Kenvi, the NARS River Oaks team literally rolled out the pink carpet to welcome their guests and reacquaint us with their bestselling and iconic blush Orgasm at this star-studded affair. If you’re not familiar with the Orgasm Collection and didn’t have a chance to attend this event, you missed out. Luckily, I caught all the highlights.

Let me start by saying that everything about the event was cute and classy, and I’m not just saying that because I was one of the Orgasm blush giveaway winners. Upon arrival, guests were welcome to snap some pics with the photographer on the pink carpet in front of their custom backdrop by E. Nicole Designs or some fun candids with Xclusive Photo Bar. The dress code for the occasion was pink in honor of the Orgasm collection. So naturally everything was pink, from the desserts by Talisha’s Sweet Treats, to the custom cocktails by Exquisite Taste Mobile Bartending.

In addition to the treats and some giveaways, we were also treated to a look and learn master class led by International Makeup Artist & seasoned NYFW makeup artist Yaneek Proctor who gave all ladies in attendance the ins and outs of the products that came about from the success of Orgasm and a demo on two models so we could see the pigments in action. Some of the Orgasm products include the Orgasm Lip Tint, Illuminator, and liquid blush just to name a few. Not to mention the other Orgasm shades and products that derived from it like Super Orgasm and Double Orgasm.

Keynote speaker Helecia Williams, also known on IG as IKnowLee, spoke on how to achieve and maintain an online brand and presence through being authentic by embracing your flaws and consistency. We definitely had our notepads out and were taking notes.

All together, the event was classy and it was a fun intimate way to network and learn from girls with similar interests. Plus cotton candy cocktails were involved? I’m always down for that. NARS River Oaks has added a few master classes onto their calendar for the month of June and July so now would be an excellent time to take advantage of these artists expertise.
